ABOUT THE BAND - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.. Now jump forward thousands of years to the year 2003. That's when Jake Osborn (vocals/guitar) and Anthony Robison (trombone) began discussing the creation of a Punk/Ska band. But it, like the earth in the beginning, was without form and void because they did not have a drummer or bass player. So additional musicians were soon added, Tyler Hutcheson (drums), Jordan Ames (bass), Ryan Ames (trumpet), Jana Deal (trumpet) and GFL was born. The band has since gone through a few changes. Jana, the only female member, quit before GFL ever took to the stage. After performing as a five piece band through the end of 2003 and beginning of 2004, Derek Latham was added to the GFL roster as the bass player and Jordan switched to the sax... Ever since the band has been playing wonderful crowd pleasing shows and recorded their first EP "We All Have Issues" in July 2004. The band is now talking to some record labels about recording and releasing their first full length album sometime next year. Be sure to come out and check out the band whenever they are in a town near you.
