Straight out of Derby, KS comes the four strapping young lads of Afton. Having just graduated high school, these boys are spending day after day in a tiny basement bedroom writing their little hearts out for their third EP. Instead of attending college like their fellow graduates, they are pursuing their musical dreams.

ABOUT THE BAND - Based in Derby, KS, AFTON (formerly *Milo) as originally formed in 1999 by guitarists Tim and Chance. In late 2002, the duo found Josh, who quickly joined to play bass. After trying out drummers for months, a friend of a friend told the group about Matt, who was immediately invited to join after only one tryout in summer of 2003. The four members got along perfectly right from the start, and hit the scene playing anything from birthday parties to local shows as often as possible. Almost one year and two EP's later, Afton's musical talent - and fanbase - continue to grow at a lightspeed rate.
The four songs of "EP vol. 2" were recorded over a 2-day period in April 2004 at Black Lodge Studios in Eudora, KS (The Get Up Kids, The Beautiful Mistake, Motion City Soundtrack).
