Puff Puff and the Receivers sound like a mix of psychedelic/electro pop, reminiscent of the surfer songs of past, contrasted with circuit bent melodies that make you feel like you found yourself in the future.

ABOUT THE BAND - Puff began writing and recording at the age of thirteen. By the time she was sixteen she was distributing her records to friends and strangers alike, and playing shows from Milwaukee to Chicago. In 2005 Puff met Joshua, a jazz guitarist, she knew she had met her sonic soul mate. They began recording and playing in the band Death Rattle Orchestra, a fusion of Puff’s songs and her brothers. Wanting to explore new sounds Puff and Josh left the group a year later and began playing as the Receivers. During this time they were playing with groups such as “Trusty Knife”, “Holy Shit”, and “Darkhorse Project”. Since winter 2007 the band has been in Austin, Texas recording and hiding form the cold. A drummer by the name of Khattie Q. ("the Hot As Shits", and formally of “Litter Meet”, “The Tuna Helpers"). They play at least once a month in Austin, and last toured the east coast/midwest in June 2008. Puff’s records include, “Early 4-Track Recordings (2002)”, “It’s a Batman Turner Christmas (2002)”, “Infancy and the Sweetheart Despair (2004)”, and “The Atomic Bomb Broke My Fragile Heart (2007)”. "Come To Me Now" is their first record as a group, recorded at "Sweatbox Studios" in East Austin, Produced and Mixed by Bryan Nelson ( of "The Little Bicycles") packaged and designed by Courtney Goode.
