BTs Finest, a rap group from upstate RI takin the underground scene by storm. Derb, Nate, and their manager KOS are the biggest unsigned hype out of the east coast since biggie.

ABOUT THE BAND - BT's Finest was formed by 3 (Derb DC and KOS) 10th graders in 2001, But it wasnt utill spring 2002 when only 2 (DC and Derb) would enter the studio for the first time. They recorded 20 tracks, but only put 16 on there first record "stright outa b-town" a play off of NWA's record "stright outa compton" on their self owned lable B-Town Records. The first single "baseball blues" was popular and the cd reasonably well.The new rap group took a couple months off, to sell the CD. In October of 02' Derb and Con-Lee Recorded "run from us" witch would be the start of the new record. At the begain of the song, was a diss by Con-Lee to AFF, a struggling rap group from the same town as BTF. This has said to of started the beef between the 2 groups. BTs Finest added members N.P. (aka Nate) and JimBo, and had a number of features on the follow up, "Back in B-Town" This CD is the best selling cd in burrillvilles history.It contained 20 tracks, and 4 bonus tracks. Singles inclued "Derbs Crib", "Baseball Blues part 3", "Jackin Beats" ,"How We Do" and "Just Us". In the weeks to follow BTF went through some hard times, including a lawsuit and a 10 days out of school for 4 of the members, and 7 days for another said to have sold a huge amount of the records. Dispite this, Derb ,N.P. and old time friend and part founder of BTF, K.O.S. went in to the studio to record 2 tracks "jokin around" and "levy" a diss track. Finaly when the trouble calmed down BTF started work on their 3rd cd "7-11" by far the best work by the group, it inclueds the return of DC, who was not seen on many tracks on "Back in B-Town". "7-11" is set to drop Feb. 10, 04', but could be pushed back, stay tuned...
