ABOUT THE BAND - Formed in June of 2006, "Sunset Opus" has quickly gained recognition as one of the best and most recognizable up and coming Rock and Roll acts in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Consisting of members Dan Sufalco (Vocals), Chris Thompson (Lead Guitar), Warner Siegle (Rhythm Guitar) Rich Zucal (bass) and Brandon Bressler (drums/saxophone), Sunset Opus combines masterful musicianship with diverse stylistic poise.
The history of "Sunset Opus" can be traced back as far as six years ago to the first collaboration of guitarists Chris Thompson and Warner Seigle. During this time, in the band "7ate9", Thompson and Seigle befriended Rich Zucal who would later become the bassist Sunset Opus. In the years to come, Thompson and Seigle would meet Brandon Bressler to form the popular Philadelphia area band "Chaser". After some years of moderate regional successes, Chaser broke up in 2006. Not discouraged by this, Thompson, Seigle, and Bressler began collaborating with singer/songwriter Dan Sufalco. In need of a Bassist, Thompson and Seigle enlisted the help of Richard Zucal, who solidified the current membership of Sunset Opus.
Combining a modern rock image, with the sound and attitude of classic/modern rock and blues, Sunset Opus has created a cross genre style that is uniquely their own. Employing vast production and musical experience and expertise in partnership with raw attitude and pure rock and roll energy, Sunset Opus redefines what it means to be a "Rock and Roll band". With a growing fan base in the Philadelphia area, a non stop commitment to writing and performing great Rock and Roll music, and a live show that blows the minds of every crowd they encounter, Sunset Opus is driven to become synonymous with how great Rock and Roll is seen, heard and performed.
