Biography
Displaying a complex, and intricate musicianship that only comes with a creative and capable artist, Annie Minogue unleashes her powerful and expressive voice to the music world on her new album LOVE PARADE. The follow up to her debut album HOME, LOVE PARADE has firmly established the singer/songwriter as a brutally honest, fresh voice in today’s music scene and garnered her acclaim from both critics and audiences alike.

Indeed, Minogue’s craft for songwriting has given her firm roots within the music world. Before going solo, she spent time in the band Ghost of a God, whose album was produced by Leif Mases (Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck) and received international attention. It was with a solo career, however, that Annie truly found her place as a songwriter, and began to propel herself into the spotlight. Having opened for artists such as Dave Navarro, David Lee Roth, Chris Whitley, Shane MacGowan, Black Eyed Peas, Bad Company’s Paul Rodgers, and Cowboy Junkies has provided a great deal of exposure and acclaim for Minogue. She has additionally graced the stages of The CMJ Music Marathon, the Sundance Film Festival, the Hard Rock Café Tour, the Summerfest Music Festival, and the LA Music Awards. Her live performances allowed her to develop a devoted following, including fans in powerful places such as music supervisors and program directors who have featured her music on both MTV and WB’s Dawson’s Creek.
Annie Minogue is a strong talent to watch. Her music combines the gutsy rock sound of artists like Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette and Melissa Etheridge with a voice that communicates an infinite number of emotions. “Love Goes Down” rings gorgeously as the album’s opener, while “Kind of Girl” shines with hope that is meticulously weaved between each chord change. Yet it is truly Minogue’s voice that makes this record hit home, singing as if each note is a declaration of the truth from within her.
